Pampering

So, as you probably already know, I LOVE to pamper myself. There is not much better than sitting in a massage chair with one person making your nails beautiful, while another person is making your feet beautiful. BUT, like the rest of you, my family has come on some hard times... so in an attempt to save money, I have decided, along with my friend Jenny, to do my own feet. I bought myself a "Pedegg" to help with the softening of feet part. Now, this product works GREAT the first time you use it. But after that you need to purchase the refills because the blades on it become extremely dull. I have also discovered that I officially SUCK at painting my toes.

Today is also the start of my new.. "Get a great body for Cancun" diet. I have got to loose the extra lbs! Thats all for now!

How have you been? Things here are going pretty good! Just cleaning and such. I should be cleaning right now, but hey, i can take a break right?

Do you ever feel like your house is never clean enough? I think that it may be because I am just dissatisfied with my things. Like I am trying to get it clean thinking it will make my place look better when in reality, I would love the money to be able to buy a few things for my home. I would like some lamps and some things for the walls, some shelves and a book shelf... those are just to start, i want an area rug for my living room! And i could go on and on and on, but I wont, lol.

I get to go shopping today to get myself a few shirts. I have been feeling like crap lately because I dont like any of my clothes. Plus a little extra poundage helps with that. I am going to try to loose some weight for Cancun! I am going to hit up a few stores near my house to see if I can put together a few outfits for cheap. That would make me feel so much better!

Sipping on some coffee!

I am sitting on my couch, with nursing my first cup of coffee of today. If you hadn't noticed yet, I love coffee. I honestly think it is what keeps me going on those days you just don't want to get out of bed. The Italian Sweet Cream... it calls to me!

I have been having a bout with cabin fever these past few days! I don't know why, I just want to be going, and doing. But mostly I think it's because I am out of meds right now and when i get by myself (without adult interaction) I get antsy. It was great last night that my best friend Merinda and her bf Andrew came over for a while. And I have plans tonight with another really close friend of mine, Jenny. She has a little boy right around Lance's age, and our husbands really get along as well, so we are making a family outing to dinner at Jen's house tonight! I am really looking forward to it.

Bad day

Wow, today has been one of those days so far for me. I am so irritated with everything. I do not have the patience with my son that I should, and although my cable was turned back on today, I can't get my TV to work. Sucks that I was just in the middle of a movie about 30 min ago and i didnt get to finish it.

Oh well.

As for my apartment, well, I thought it was getting clean, but I guess it will never be good enough... :/

Home Sweet Home!

After a much needed weekend away in good ole' Simpson, LA... I am home. I had such a good time visiting with my family, but I am glad to be home. So much to be done now that I am..

I have got to get this apartment clean! It is pretty much trashed. Laundry and dishes to be done not to mention just plain old cleaning.

2009

Well, I sure hope that 2009 rocks the socks off of 2008. Lets just say that 2008 was pretty much the worst year of my life. Between the rocky roads of "Chris and I" and then my bipolar and borderline diagnoses, and my fall into a world of addiction, to the rise out, to the death of my mother... I pray that good things come to me in 2009.

Besides the fact that at the moment I am sitting at home by myself with a toddler, it holds promise. I am heading out tomorrow morning to visit family in Louisiana. I will be there until Sunday. I havn't been "back home" in forever. I wasn't born there, but I used to go there every summer and to me it's always felt like home.

Tonight, i dont have any plans. New Years Eve and I don't have a baby sitter so I can't go out. Chris, however, may. I don't know yet.

CANCUN!

So.... my best friend Merinda, remember her? I told you that if you followed you would hear a lot about her. Well, a few months ago, she mentioned to me that her "granny" had a time share condo in none other than Cancun, Mexico! And the great part was that she offered her week this summer to Merinda and her bf Andrew! Well, they invited me and Chris. We didnt know if we were going to be able to go for sure because she didnt know exactly what week and the guys have to ask off for work WELL in advance to make sure they can get off. So guess what? She called yesterday with the date! WE ARE GOING TO CANCUN!

I am so excited!

We are staying at the Royal Caribbean Resort! She is coming over today to keep an eye on Lance while I apply for jobs because we need extra money if we are going to make cancun!
